Prime Minister Narendra Modi turned 75 today, and wishes have been pouring in from across the country and beyond. Among those who celebrated the occasion in a unique way was actress and politician Kangana Ranaut, who offered heartfelt prayers and took part in a noble cause to mark the day. Earlier in the morning, Kangana had posted a birthday wish for PM Modi on her social media. Later, she shared a special video where she was seen conducting a traditional hawan (sacred fire ritual) in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, praying for the Prime Minister’s long life, health, and strength. Along with the ceremony, she also donated blood at a camp organised by the BJP district unit in Mandi.

Sharing her experience on Instagram, Kangana wrote in Hindi that she felt privileged to participate in both the hawan and the blood donation camp. She extended her best wishes for PM Modi’s long, healthy, and strong life, adding the slogan, “Modi hai to mumkin hai” (With Modi, everything is possible). Earlier in the day, the actress-turned-politician had also shared a picture with PM Modi. In her post, she described him as the “true son of Mother India” and the “nation’s most popular leader.” She praised his vision for a developed India, guided by the mantra of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas (Together with all, development for all).

 Kangana Ranaut’s Political Journey

Kangana Ranaut has recently stepped into active politics. She contested the 2024 Lok Sabha elections on a BJP ticket from the Mandi constituency in Himachal Pradesh. In a closely followed contest, she defeated Congress candidate Vikramaditya Singh, securing her position as a Member of Parliament. Since then, Kangana has balanced her political duties while continuing to engage with her fans and followers from her film career.

Before entering politics, Kangana was already a well-established name in Bollywood. She made her debut in 2006 with Anurag Basu’s Gangster, produced by Mahesh Bhatt. She followed it up with films like Woh Lamhe (2006) and Life in a Metro (2007). Her breakthrough came with Madhur Bhandarkar’s Fashion (2008), which earned her widespread recognition.Most recently, she was seen in Emergency, a political drama where she portrayed former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Kangana not only played the lead role but also directed the film, further establishing her versatility in the industry.
