Kantara Chapter 1 Advance Bookings: Kantara Chapter 1 is officially summarized as "Exploring the origins of Kaadubettu Shiva during the Kadamba dynasty era, it delves into the untamed wilderness and forgotten lore surrounding his past." Rishab Shetty's magnum opus, which slowly approaching a significant milestone, has kickstarted its advance booking in the North region with a bang.

Kantara Chapter 1 has sold 116587 tickets in all India. The much-awaited movie grossed Rs 41286725 with 108124 tickets for 1248 shows in Kannada while Telugu stood at Rs 26190 with 70 tickets sold for 33 shows. The Hindi 2D version grossed Rs 2113020 with 8393 tickets sold for 3015 shows. So, far Kantara: A Legend Chapter 1's advance booking gross with blocked seats includes stands at Rs 6.92 crore.

Kantara Chapter 1's shows are filling fast in Karnataka (6.14 crore) followed by Maharashtra (18.72 lakh), as per latest update from sacnilk. The movie's trailer was met with overwhelmingly positive feedback. The movie has a solid probability of opening in the double digits based on the excitement and buzz among the crowd. However, whether the prequel can recreate Kannada cinema's history while emulating the original part's splendor will depend on word-of-mouth.

All About Kantara Movie

The first chapter of Kanatara takes place in pre-colonial Karnataka, under the rule of the Banavasi Kadambas.  According to Rishab Shetty, the main premise of the movie is the same as in the previous section and centers on the struggle between a despotic ruler and the indigenous people of Kantara Forest.

Kantara, which was released in 2022 and had a budget of Rs 14 crore, made history by earning between Rs 400 and Rs 500 crore at the box office. After becoming well-liked throughout India, the movie was dubbed into several more languages. While Kantara examined coastal Karnataka's belief in Bhootakola and the Panjurali deity, its precursor is set in pre-colonial times and concentrates on the mythological tradition's beginnings.

Nonetheless, the rivalry for spectators in the Hindi markets is expected to be fierce because Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor's Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari will be released on the same day as Kantara: Chapter 1.
