Kantara Chapter 1 Box Office Collection Day 7: Rishab Shetty and Rukmini Vasanth starrer Kannada epic mythological drama movie is unstoppable at the ticket windows. The film might have seen a slight dip in numbers on Wednesday, but it is unaffected. In just 7 days of release, Kantara Chapter surpasses the Rs 310 crore mark. As the numbers are high, the expectations also increase about the movie. If it continues to perform on the second consecutive day in the same momentum, then there are high chances of the movie crossing the Rs 500 crore milestone easily in India.

Kantara Chapter 1 Box Office Collection Day 7

As per Sacnilk, the movie earned Rs 25 crore on Day 7. The Kannada version earned Rs 9 crore, the Telugu collection is Rs 3.5 crore, the Hindi version is Rs 8.5 crore, Tamil version collected Rs 2.15 crore and the Malayalam version is Rs 1.85 crore. The net collection of Kantara Chapter 1 stands at Rs 316 crore.

According to reports, the film has been made on a whopping budget of Rs 125 crore.

What Is The Plot Of Kantara Chapter 1?

The film is about Berme, who protects his tribe and deva idols from the negative energy people. He goes to every lengths to guard his land. It focuses on his journey set back in the Kadamba dynasty era. Kantara Chapter 1 stars Rishab Shetty, Rukmini Vasanth, Jayaram, Rakesh Poojari, Pramod Shetty, Achyuth Kumar and Prakash Thuminad in pivotal roles. The magnum opus was created by Rishab Shetty and backed by Vijay Kiragandur, Chaluve Gowda under the production banner of Hombale Films. Kantara Chapter 1 is the prequel to Kantara, whereas the movie is set to have a direct sequel, Kantara Chapter 2.
