Kantara Chapter 1 Box Office Collection Day 6: Rishab Shetty starrer Kannada adventure drama thriller movie, which released in theatres on October 2, has been rocking at the box office with great numbers. The movie has shown growth in numbers on Tuesday and is now aiming for Rs 300 crore. If the film maintains the same momentum, it is expected to earn Rs 400 crore by this week. Well, it completely depends on the upcoming days' collection. However, the movie is not facing any big releases for some time.

Kantara Chapter 1 Box Office Collection Day 6

As per Sacnilk, the movie earned Rs 33.5 crore on Day 6. The net collection of Kantara Chapter 1 stands at Rs 290.25 crore. The film had an overall Kannada collection of Rs 89.35 crore, Telugu version earned Rs 57.4 crore, Hindi version collected Rs 93.25 crore, Tamil collection stands at Rs 27.25 crore and Malayalam version is Rs 23 crore.

As per reports, the film has been made on a budget of Rs 125 crore.

What Is Kantara Chapter 1 All About?

The movie explores the origins of Kaadubettu Shiva during the Kadamba dynasty era. It focuses on the untamed wilderness and forgotten lore surrounding his past. Kantara Chapter 1 stars Rishab Shetty, Rukmini Vasanth, Gulshan Devaiah, Jayaram, Rakesh Poojari, Pramod Shetty, Achyuth Kumar and Prakash Thuminad in prominent roles. It has been directed by Rishab Shetty. The film has been produced by Vijay Kiragandur, Chaluve Gowda under the production banners of Hombale Films. The film is the prequel to the 2022 blockbuster movie Kantara. Now, Kantara Chapter 1 will have a direct sequel, Kantara Chapter 2.
