Kantara Chapter 1 Box Office Collection Day 9: Rishab Shetty starrer Kannada movie has been showing outstanding performance at the box office, earning over Rs 20 crore each day. The film has now crossed Rs 350 crore, marking a new milestone at the box office. Kantara Chapter 1 is now stepping towards another record-breaking number, which is Rs 400 crore. If the movie continues its pace in its second weekend as well, it will achieve the mark by this time.

Kantara Chapter 1 Box Office Collection Day 9

As per Sacnilk, the movie earned Rs 22 crore on Day 9. The net collection of Kantara Chapter 1 stands at Rs 359.40 crore. The movie had an overall 42.58 per cent Kannada occupancy on Friday, 24.99 per cent Telugu occupancy, 15.65 per cent Hindi occupancy, 30.36 per cent Tamil occupancy and 28.10 per cent Malayalam occupancy in theatres.
The film had an overall collection of Rs 337.4 crore in its first week. The Kannada version is Rs 106.95 crore, the Telugu collection is Rs 63.55 crore, the Hindi version is Rs 108.75 crore, the Tamil version is Rs 31.5 crore and the Malayalam version earned Rs 26.65 crore.

What Is The Budget Of Kantara Chapter 1?

As per reports, the film has been made on a budget of Rs 125 crore.

What Is Kantara Chapter 1 All About?

The movie explores the journey of Kaadubettu Shiva during the Kadamba dynasty era. The movie delves into the untamed wilderness and forgotten lore surrounding his past. Kantara Chapter 1 stars Rishab Shetty, Rukmini Vasanth, Gulshan Devaiah, Jayaram, Rakesh Poojari, Pramod Shetty, Achyuth Kumar and Prakash Thuminad in pivotal roles. It has been written and directed by Rishab Shetty himself. The film has been backed by Hombale Films. After Kantara Chapter 1, there is a sequel also set to be made. Notably, the film is the prequel to the 2022 blockbuster Kantara.
