Hombale Films has announced that its highly anticipated epic, Kantara Chapter 1, will have a Pan-World release, hitting theatres simultaneously in over 30 countries. This is a proud and defining moment for Indian storytelling on the global stage. The film, directed by Rishab Shetty, is set to release in key international markets including the UK, UAE, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, USA, Canada, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Fiji, Mauritius, the Caribbean, Japan, Australia and Germany, among others.

Moreover, Hombale Films is leaving no stone unturned in carrying forward the legacy of this 2022 masterpiece. The makers have curated an extensive war sequence for Kantara: Chapter 1 with national and international specialists, involving over 500 skilled fighters and featuring 3,000 people. This sequence was filmed in an entire town spanning 25 acres on rugged terrain, over a period of 45–50 days, making it one of the biggest sequences in the history of Indian cinema.

Scheduled for a worldwide release on October 2, the film will launch in Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, Bengalipah and English, reaching audiences across languages and regions while remaining deeply rooted in its cultural core.

The makers took to social media and shared a glimpse of Kantara, offering a goosebumps-worthy look at Rishab Shetty's intense avatar from Kantara: Chapter 1, as they marked the countdown of 27 days to the film’s release while also hinting at an exciting update on the way.
