Aamir Khan is gearing up for the release of his upcoming highly-anticipated movie Sitaare Zameen Par. The actor hosted a private musical gathering ahead of the release of Sitaare Zameen Par. The event was attended by comedians Kapil Sharma, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, singer Shankar Mahadevan, among others.
Kapil Sharma took to his Instagram handle and wrote, "A special evening with the special “sitaare”of “sitaare zameen par” . Thank you Aamir bhai for the most beautiful evening & Wish you the best for #sitaarezameenpar releasing on 20th June." In the video, Kapil could be see performing classical raagas, while Aamir Khan was seen lauding him. Watch the video here:
Another video that has been circulating online showcases actor Ranbir Kapoor jamming with the cast of Sitaare Zaeen Par. Ranbir kept it casual as he donned a black shirt which he paired with pants and white shoes. Aamir Khan joined the musical night at the request of guests, who were thrilled to see him.
Other attendees included notable figures like actor Kiran Rao, director RS Prasanna and music composers Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. The evening also saw a surprise visit from cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar and his wife Anjali, who were warmly welcomed by Aamir amidst cheers and chants of Sachin's name.
The event is connected to Aamir's upcoming film Sitaare Zameen Par, directed by RS Prasanna and co-produced by Aamir Khan and Aparna Purohit. The film features Aamir Khan and Genelia Deshmukh, alongside ten newcomers making their debut. Sitaare Zameen Par is a Hindi adaptation of the Spanish hit 'Champions' and is set to release on June 20, 2025.
