Kareena Kapoor Khan is set to surprise fans with her upcoming role as a ghost! According to recent reports, the Bollywood star will be seen playing a ghost in a quirky new movie, and she will be paired with a much younger actor. The film is expected to blend humour, romance, and supernatural elements in a fresh and genre-bending way.

The 44-year-old actress will reportedly share screen space with an actor nearly 20 years younger than her. According to a report in Deccan Chronicle, “This quirky story featuring Kareena as a ghost has a refreshing script and will carve out a new space in the ghost genre. It’s a fun, genre-bending take, and Kareena is perfect for it.” While the official announcement of the film is still awaited, it has been reported that the script is written by Hussain Dalal. Known for his collaborations with director Ayan Mukerji, Hussain previously worked on films like Brahmastra Part One.

Meanwhile, the upcoming film is also said to be a unique romantic comedy with a supernatural twist. The movie will reportedly see Kareena’s ghostly character fall in love with a much younger man, likely in his early 20s. If confirmed, this movie would be a refreshing shift in Kareena’s film choices. Over the years, she has evolved from playing classic romantic leads to portraying strong and complex women on screen.

Meanwhile, Kareena Kapoor Khan is also gearing up for another major project titled Daayra. The movie is currently in pre-production and also stars actor Prithviraj Sukumaran in a gripping crime drama. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, Daayra marks the third collaboration between the filmmaker and production house Junglee Pictures, after their successful outings with Raazi and Talvar.

Daayra movie promises to be a hard-hitting thriller that explores themes of justice, crime, and punishment in today’s society. Co-written by Yash, Sima, and Meghna Gulzar herself the movie is already generating buzz as one of the most anticipated films to come. Kareena’s role in Daayra is said to be a strong and commanding one, adding yet another dimension to her diverse filmography.
