Kdrama OTT Releases This Week (July 21-27): July is packed with exciting new Kdramas and emotional storylines, with something for every fan. From dark thrillers and heartfelt romances to supernatural twists and sports dramas, this month’s line-up promises a lot. Some of the most awaited premieres include The Defects, My Girlfriend Is the Real Man, Try: A Miracle in Us, and Trigger. Meanwhile, popular ongoing series like Head Over Heels, Low Life, S Line, and The Nice Guy will continue with fresh episodes, keeping viewers hooked. 

New Kdramas Premiering This Week:

The Defects

Starring Yum Jung Ah, Won Jin Ah, and Dex, this kdrama follows the chief director of a well-known hospital. Though admired for her charity work, she secretly runs an illegal adoption ring. The show premieres on July 21 on ENA and KOCOWA+.

My Girlfriend Is the Real Man

With ASTRO’s Sanha, Arin, Yoo Jung Hoo, and Chuu in the lead, this web series tells the story of a man whose girlfriend suddenly wakes up as a man due to a rare genetic disorder. You can watch it on July 23 on KBS 2TV and Viki.

Try: A Miracle in Us

Yoon Kye Sang, Im Se Mi, and Kim Yo Han star in this sports-themed kdrama. It follows a former rugby player who returns to his high school as a coach and meets his ex-lover again. Watch it on July 25 on Netflix and SBS.

Trigger

This action-packed web series features Kim Nam Gil and Kim Young Kwang. It follows a former sniper-turned-detective and a mysterious arms dealer as they try to deal with the country’s growing gun crime. The kdrama premieres on July 25 on Netflix.

Ongoing Kdramas: 

Head Over Heels

Episodes 9 and 10 will show Cho Yi Hyun and Choo Young Woo enjoying their romantic moments, but trouble is on the horizon. The kdrama’s new episode airs on July 21 and 22 on Prime Video and tvN.

Low Life

Episode 4 continues the adventure of an uncle-nephew team, played by Ryu Seung Ryong and Yang Se Jong, as they dive deeper into their underwater treasure hunt. The new episodes will be available on July 23 on Disney+.

S Line

The final episodes 5 and 6 will see Lee Soo Hyuk trying to solve his niece’s murder, possibly with help from Arin and Lee Da Hee. You can watch it on July 25 on Wavve.

The Nice Guy

Episodes 3 and 4 focus on the growing romance between Lee Dong Wook and Lee Sung Kyung. However, his complicated past begins to affect their relationship. New episodes drop on July 25 on JTBC.
