Telugu movie Khaleja, starring Mahesh Babu, recently re-released in theatres in 4K and it received a positive response from the audience. A massive crowd flocked into theatres across Telugu states to watch the cult classic. A slew of videos have been surfacing online in which fans could be seen dancing and singing in the theatres. However, in a viral video, a fan could be seen bringing a real snake into a cinema hall, which created panic among the audience.
According to India Today, the clip was recorded inside a cinema hall in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. Unbeknownst to the audience, the fan brought a real snake, causing widespread panic when people realised it wasn't part of the show. Screams and hoots filled the theatre as many rushed outside in fear. Watch the video here:

Not only this, fans realised that the re-released version of Khaleja featured a significantly edited version of the film—with key scenes, songs and dialogues missing. A slew of videos have been surfacing online in which fans could be seen protesting inside theatres.
Disappointed fans were seen demanding explanations about the trimmed version of the movie. The intense argument soon transformed into vandalism. A fan wrote on X, “Songs, scenes, and dialogues are missing from the film. What are we supposed to do with this re-release? That’s why fans are creating a ruckus.”
About Khaleja: Despite receiving positive reviews, the film Khaleja, featuring Anushka Shetty, Prakash Raj and Rao Ramesh, among others, underperformed at the box office initially. However, over time, it has gained a cult following and is now regarded as one of the greatest Telugu films of all time.
