Kishkindhapuri Day 3 Box Office Collection: Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas’ latest horror thriller Kishkindhapuri is gradually winning over audiences. After a slow start, the Telugu movie picked up pace over the weekend and showed impressive growth on its third day. Sunday turned out to be the best day yet for the movie, as collections touched the three-crore mark in a single day for the very first time. Kishkindhapuri released on 12th September 2025 and faced a tough competition right from the beginning. On its opening day, the film received a mixed response, both from critics and viewers. Another big release, Mirai starring Teja Sajja, limited the number of theatres available for Kishkindhapuri. Because of this, the audience turnout on day one was not very strong.
The Telugu horror movie Kishkindhapuri collected a net of Rs 2.15 crore across India on Friday. However, positive word-of-mouth began to help from the very next day. On Saturday, the second day, the film added Rs 70 lakh more, taking its total to Rs 2.85 crore. By Sunday, the collections rose sharply, with early trade estimates putting the figure at Rs 3.35 crore. There is even a possibility that the final reports could push this number closer to Rs 3.5 crore. In just three days, Kishkindhapuri has earned an India net collection of Rs 8.35 crore. When looking at the gross numbers, the film has already crossed the Rs 10 crore mark. The Telugu movie is also made on a relatively moderate budget of around Rs 25 crore. With steady growth and good momentum from Sunday, industry experts believe it could soon recover a major chunk of its costs.
About Telugu Movie Kishkindhapuri
Directed by Kaushik Pegallapati, Kishkindhapuri is a horror thriller with elements of action and suspense. The story follows a group of people who join a ghost-watching tour, only for the trip to take a terrifying turn when mysterious deaths begin to occur. Anupama Parameswaran, who plays the female lead, is said to have a devilish role, but the makers hint that her character has many more surprising layers. Meanwhile, Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas takes on the male lead, while the supporting cast features veteran actors such as Tanikella Bharani, Srikanth Iyengar, Hyper Aadi, Sudarshan, and Makrand Deshpande. Produced by Sahu Garapati under the Shine Screens banner, the film has been given an ‘A’ certificate by the Censor Board. Interestingly, the certification came with no cuts.
