Krrish 4: The much-loved superhero franchise Krrish is finally returning with its fourth sequel, Krrish 4 and fans have been eagerly waiting for updates. Interestingly, this time around, Hrithik Roshan will not only star in the film but also make his directorial debut. His father, Rakesh Roshan, who directed the previous three parts of the franchise—Koi Mil Gaya, Krrish, and Krrish 3—has decided to step back from direction. The movie is expected to be a grand visual spectacle packed with sci-fi elements, action, emotion, and time travel.

In Krrish 3, Hrithik was seen in a double role, playing both Rohit (his father) and Krishna/Krrish. Now, in Krrish 4, he is reportedly going to play not two, but three characters. According to reports, the story will involve different versions of Krrish travelling through time—past, present, and future—to stop a powerful enemy. The movie will focus on how Krrish’s mission connects with his family and past, keeping the emotional core of the story alive despite its larger-than-life scale.

Koi Mil Gaya Movie Characters To Return In Krrish 4

Adding to the excitement, several familiar faces from the earlier films are expected to return. Rekha, who played Hrithik’s grandmother in Koi Mil Gaya, and Preity Zinta, who played Nisha, Rohit’s love interest, are both reportedly part of the cast. Moreover, the iconic alien Jadoo, who won hearts in Koi Mil Gaya, may also, according to a report in DNA, makes a comeback after 23 years. These nostalgic elements are expected to strike a chord with fans who grew up watching the franchise.

Priyanka Chopra Set To Reprise Her Role In Krrish 4

Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra, who starred as Priya in Krrish and Krrish 3, is also said to be returning. According to a report in Pinkvilla, the decision to bring Priyanka back was easy, given her strong on-screen chemistry with Hrithik and their successful past collaborations. The trio of Rekha, Preity, and Priyanka alongside Hrithik is expected to bring a perfect blend of old charm and fresh excitement to the movie.

On the other hand, Krrish 4 movie is reportedly to begin shooting in early 2026. The project is still in its pre-production stage, with work ongoing on the script, VFX, and final casting. The makers are aiming to deliver a film that meets the global standards of superhero cinema.

Hrithik Roshan’s Upcoming Movie

With Krrish 4 in the pipeline, Hrithik will also be seen in the high-octane action movie War 2. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the movie also stars Jr NTR and Kiara Advani. War 2 is scheduled for release on 14th August 2025 and is a part of YRF’s spy universe.
