War 2 Poster OUT: With less than two months until the big release, there has been a lot of excitement regarding War 2 as the makers unveiled exciting new posters featuring the lead stars Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR, and Kiara Advani. The trio’s fierce first look has blown up the internet as fans are excited to witness a cinematic journey that is filled with adrenaline. Slated to hit theatres on 14 August 2025, War 2 is the much-awaited sequel to the 2019 blockbuster War.

Hrithik Roshan took to his Instagram and shared three striking posters. Unveiling his look, he wrote, “This time he is ruthless, merciless, relentless and ready for WAR! Are you? The countdown begins #50DaysToWar2. Releasing in Hindi, Telugu & Tamil on August 14th in cinemas worldwide.”  Hrithik Roshan is set to reprise his role as the mysterious and powerful Major Kabir with the poster showcasing him in a rugged, battle-worn avatar.

Jr NTR's Bollywood Debut With War 2

On the other hand, Jr NTR is blazing in his Bollywood debut. His poster shows him dual-wielding firearms. The caption read, “He is resolute and fearless. And he will never stop hunting. WAR is coming!” Fans are particularly excited to see Jr NTR enter the YRF Spy Universe, adding his magnetic screen presence and raw action chops.

What To Expect From War 2?

War 2 promises a thrill ride as each character’s poster is infused with grit, resolve and danger. Directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Aditya Chopra under YRF, this film is expected to knock down box offices in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

Speaking about War 2, the Brahmastra director reportedly said, “It's a huge responsibility to take forward a hugely loved franchise like War and leave your own mark on it. I saw directing War 2 as a relishing opportunity to give a hat-tip to the first film.” He further added, “You have to take what has been set and then make the fans of these gigantic superstars go on a journey that’s new, one that leaves them hungry for more.”
