Kunickaa Sadanand has been evicted from the Bigg Boss 19 house after a long stint in the game show. Since her elimination, she has been talking about other contestants and one among them is Gaurav Khanna. Kunickaa took a dig at the actor and said that she believes he is playing a ‘crafted character’ rather than being an authentic person. She further stated that Gaurav is playing the game by maintaining the image of Anuj Kapadia (from Anupamaa).

In an interview with The Hindustan Times,  Kunickaa Sadanand said, “I truly feel GK is not GK inside the Bigg Boss house. He is playing Anuj Kapadia. If he has managed to maintain that image throughout and rise so decently, then it’s a smart gameplay. He has moved smartly without being abusive or disrespectful. But I don’t think that’s the real Gaurav. It’s a controlled version, like a well-written script—a well-thought-out plan.” While she appreciates his rise, she believes public persona may be strategically curated as it is ‘too polished to be natural’.

‘This strategy has definitely worked for him. If he’s acting inside the house, he should be awarded because that isn’t easy. To do it for this long—he deserves to be recognised for it,” the actress added.

 

The character Anuj Kapadia, whom Kunickaa is referring to, is from the hit serial Anupamma. In the show, Gaurav played the role of Anuj, who was a calm and composed man, demeanour in any given situation.

On the work front, Kunickaa Sadanand is known for her movies in Hum Saath - Saath Hain, Gumrah, Khiladi, Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya, Bhouri, Bandh Darwaza, Beta and Ek Rishtaa: The Bond Of Love, to name a few. She was also part of shows like Swabhimaan, Dollar Bahu, Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara, Kittie Party, Har Mushkil Ka Hal Akbar Birbal, Sanjog Se Bani Sangini and Kaal Bhairav Rahasya. She was last seen in Dimming Shadows, a short film which released in 2022. Her last feature film was Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2 in 2018.
