Smriti Irani is all set to make a comeback with her iconic television show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. It was not just a show, but a celebration of emotions as it brought people together from all over the nation. Smriti’s popular character Tulsi Virani was a household name. And the actress built a trustworthy image among the fraternity members as well. Director Ektaa Kapoor recently revealed Smriti Irani’s dedication towards the show and shared that the actress managed to join the shooting just two days after giving birth.

Ektaa Kapoor recently made a shocking revelation during an interview with Hindustan Times and shared, "The only person I know who had my production head was on the hotline with her. Every time he cried, she would just land up on the sets. Ok, I am having a baby, she is the only one who came on the sets two days after her delivery. She knew that the telecast had to be made quickly, and Kyuki could not happen without those."

During the same interview, Smriti Irani was also present and the actress further added that the production team made sure that if something happened to her on the sets of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, there was a hospital nearby. The actress added that the team had measured the distance between the set and the hospital to see how quickly they could drive. That is how she has seen the company grow.

Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 is all set to arrive on StarPlus from July 29 at 10:30 pm. The show will be simultaneously streaming on JioHotstar. The makers of the show recently shared the promo of the show on Instagram and wrote, “Kya aap abhi bhi vishwaas nahi kar paa rahe? 25 saal ke baad, Tulsi Virani laut rahi hai, ek nayi kahaani ke saath! #KyunkiSaasBhiKabhiBahuThi ek baar phir taayaar hai har ghar ka hissa bann ne.
