Lenin Box Office Collection Day 2: On July 10, Akhil Akkineni-starrer Lenin was released in theatres. Directed by Murali Kishor Abburu, it also features Bhagyashri Borse in a significant part. The Telugu action drama has done well at the movie office and acquired momentum.

Lenin saw a clear jump at the box office on Saturday, showing that audiences responded well to its opening weekend. Early estimates from Sacnilk indicate that the Telugu movie earned Rs 8.15 crore nett in India on Day 2, a 14% increase over its opening-day profits. It was played across 2,099 shows around the country.

Lenin's two-day domestic total was Rs 15.30 crore nett and Rs 17.60 crore gross after opening at Rs 7.15 crore nett.

Lenin continued to have a respectable performance overseas, earning a gross of Rs 2.50 crore on Saturday. Its two-day worldwide gross reached Rs 23.40 crore, while its overall worldwide is currently at Rs 5.80 crore (gross).

Meanwhile, Samantha Ruth Prabhu gave a rare shout-out to Akhil on her Instagram story. She wished him luck with his most recent Telugu movie, Lenin. "Wishing #Lenin, @akkineniakhil and the whole team the very best. Big blockbuster vibes already," she wrote.

Akhil promptly responded to Samantha's story. "Thank you so much Sam... my team and me really appreciate your wishes."

About Telugu Movie Lenin

Lenin, which was produced by Nagarjuna Akkineni and Naga Vamsi, is Akhil's return following a three-year hiatus. The plot, which is set in the fictional town of Sriramapuram in the Chittoor area, centres around the yearly Draupadi celebration before turning into a drama about retaliation.

Murali Kishor Abburu is the director and writer of Lenin. Sivaji, Brahmaji, Easwari Rao, and Sunil starred in the Telugu movie. Thaman wrote the music for the movie, Navin Nooli edited it, and Leon Britto handled the cinematography.

For Akhil, who has been looking for a significant commercial success since his debut, the movie is seen as essential. Lenin seems to have connected with audiences after dabbling with many genres over the years, and favourable word-of-mouth has helped its box office performance.
