Lokah Chapter 1 Teaser OUT: Dulquer Salmaan turned 42 today, and to mark this occasion, his production team has shared the teaser for the first Malayalam female superhero movie. Lokah Chapter 1 is helmed by Dominic Arun. The Malayalam movie aims to build an exciting new superhero universe that revolves around Kerala’s rich tradition and mythology. Meanwhile, the Lokah Chapter 1 movie is not the typical action South movie. It focuses on storytelling rooted in culture while introducing a brand-new superhero world. The movie stars Kalyani Priyadarshan in the lead role, and fans can expect a new avatar of the actress in it.

Dulquer Salmaan took to X (formerly Twitter) to share the teaser of the Malayalam movie Lokah. The caption of the post read, “Welcome to the world of Lokah! In theatres this Onam. Teaser out now.” The Malayalam movie is poised to be a festive treat for fans. Although the exact date of the movie’s release is yet to be announced. The teaser reveals a dystopian setting where Kalyani, in a superhero costume, battles armed soldiers, igniting significant fan excitement for her new portrayal. The visuals promise an unprecedented cinematic experience in Malayalam cinema, hinting at a blend of intense action and emotional drama.

Lokah Chapter 1 movie is being produced by Dulquer’s banner, Wayfarer Films, marking their seventh production, and is expected to be made on a grand scale. The cast also includes Naslen K. Gafoor, Chandu Salim Kumar, Arun Kurian, and Shanti Balachandran. There are also rumours of cameo appearances by Dulquer Salmaan and Tovino Thomas. The Malayalam movie’s music is composed by Jakes Bejoy, with cinematography by Nimish Ravi.
