Lucky Baskhar Sequel Confirmed: Lucky Baskhar, released on October 31, 2024, starring Dulquer Salmaan, quickly became one of the most popular films of the year. Dulquer’s portrayal of Bhaskar, a simple man caught in a world of financial crime, was well-received by fans. Set in the late 1980s, the story connected well with audiences for its nostalgic setting and strong storytelling even after streaming on Netflix.

Director Venky Atluri, in a recent interview with Big TV Plus, confirmed that a sequel to Lucky Baskhar is definitely happening. “Lucky Baskhar sequel will happen for sure,” he said, adding to the excitement surrounding the film. The announcement has sparked fresh interest, with fans eager to know what will happen next in Bhaskar’s story.

Lucky Baskhar Movie’s Box Office Collection

Lucky Baskhar was a major box office success, as the movie earned over Rs 107 crore worldwide. In India, it brought in Rs 81.15 crore, with Andhra Pradesh and Telangana contributing Rs 36 crore, Kerala Rs 21.50 crore, and Tamil Nadu Rs 15.75 crore. Internationally, it grossed around USD 3.05 million (Rs 26 crore). These impressive numbers made Lucky Baskhar one of Dulquer Salmaan’s highest-grossing Telugu films.

Meanwhile, in an earlier chat with Telugu 123, the Lucky Baskhar actor expressed his gratitude for the film’s success. He shared that Venky Atluri’s script narration hooked him immediately. “The timing was perfect; I had free dates, and the team prepared everything within two weeks,” he said. He also thanked the producers for giving him such a strong character to play.
