Madharaasi Box Office Collection Day 4: Sivakarthikeyan and Rukmini Vasanth starrer Tamil movie released in theatres on September 5. The film has been performing exceptionally well at the ticket windows and has crossed Rs 40 crore in just a few days. On its first Monday, the film saw its first big drop at the box office. Despite the dip, Madharaasi remained unaffected. The movie is expected to show growth and hit the half-century mark in the coming days. It already beat Tiger Shroff’s Baaghi 4, which earned Rs 35.50 crore.

As per Sacnilk, the movie earned Rs 4.15 crore on Day 4. The net collection of Madharaasi stands at Rs 40.55 crore. The film had an overall 25.91 per cent Tamil occupancy on Monday. It had 17.92 per cent occupancy in the morning shows, 27.04 per cent in the afternoon shows, 27.88 per cent in the evening shows and 30.78 per cent in the night shows.

According to reports, the film has been made on a budget of around Rs 180 to 200 crore.
What Is The Storyline Of Madharaasi?
The movie is about a man with a tragic past who becomes involved in an operation to distribute mass weapons. Madharaasi features Sivakarthikeyan, Rukmini Vasanth, Vidyut Jammwal, Shabeer Kallarakkal and Vikranth in key roles. It has been directed by A.R. Murugadoss and produced by NV Prasad. Anirudh Ravichander is the music director of Madharaasi.
Recently, makers have warned against unauthorised footage. The makers issue statement, which read, “During this moment of celebration, there is a slight cause of concern. We have observed that many pages, artists, and crew who have worked on the film are circulating and posting BTS stills, making videos and other unauthorised content from the film. This is unfair to the producers. Any accounts doing such will be reported and brought down. Any content that goes out from the film should be approved and authorised by Sri Lakshmi Movies as the producers.”
