Mahabharat Ek Dharmayudh OTT Release: The timeless epic Mahabharat is returning in a never-seen-before form. JioHotstar has announced an all-new series titled Mahabharat: Ek Dharmayudh, which combines the ancient tale of the Kurukshetra war with cutting-edge artificial intelligence. This marks India’s first AI-powered mythological web series, offering a fresh, futuristic take on one of the country’s most revered stories. The first instalment consists of 100 episodes, each reimagining the epic’s grandeur while maintaining its spiritual and moral essence.

Produced by JioStar in collaboration with Collective Artists Network, Mahabharat: Ek Dharmayudh aims to merge India’s rich heritage with modern technology. The series uses AI-generated visuals, dialogues, and performances to recreate iconic characters and moments from the epic, such as the rivalry between the Pandavas and the Kauravas, the 18-day Kurukshetra war, and its emotional aftermath. Vijay Subramaniam, Founder and Group CEO of Collective Artists Network, expressed his excitement about this innovative project. He shared, “For many of us, the Mahabharat is more than just a story — it’s part of our cultural foundation. With AI Mahabharat, audiences can experience these timeless tales in a new, immersive way, powered by technology but rooted in tradition.”
