Mahakali First Glimpse Out: The makers of Mahakali, RKD Studios and showrunner Prasanth Varma, have officially unveiled the long-awaited first glimpse of their upcoming historical epic.
Titled #Shukracharya’sWarCry, the extended video teaser sets the stage for a mythical battle between Dharma and Adharma while officially locking the film’s worldwide theatrical release for January 8, 2027.
Directed by Puja Aparna Kolluru, Mahakali marks the next chapter in the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU) following the blockbusting success of Hanu-Man.

The narrative of the glimpse draws inspiration from the mythological tale of Samudra Manthan (the churning of the cosmic ocean). It explores how the Asuras were denied the divine nectar of immortality and banished to the netherworld, setting up Shukracharya’s vengeful declaration of war against the forces of good.
