Mahavatar Narsimha Box Office Collection Day 12: Mahavatar Narsimha raises the bar for regionally produced animated films with its rich devotional content, beautifully rendered animation, and traditional storyline. It marks the beginning of a trend in mythical animation that has the potential to develop into a whole cinematic world. Additionally, Ashwin Kumar's film has formally joined the Rs 100 crore club in just two weeks. Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam were the languages in which Mahavatar Narsimha was launched. Both 2D and 3D versions are available.

Mahavatar Narsimha added Rs 7.75 crores to the kitty on second Tuesday (day 12). The animated epic minted Rs 7.35 crore on second Monday. Additionally, it was the audience's top pick, surpassing Saiyaara, Son of Sardaar 2, and Dhadak 2. With profits of Rs 23.1 crore, the second Sunday was the greatest day ever for Mahavatar Narsimha. It made Rs 44.75 crore at the end of its first week. On Tuesday, August 5, 2025, the animated epic supported by Hombale Films achieved an overall Telugu occupancy rate of 29.55%.

Mahavatar Narsimha and Saiyaara are currently dominating the ticket window. The recent release of Dhadak 2, which starred Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri, has slowed down considerably. As the weekdays drew near, however, Ajay Devgn and Mrunal Thakur's Son of Sardaar 2 has also failed to leave a mark at th box office.

According to reports, Mahavatar Narsimha was made with a Rs 15 crore budget. While recovering its budget, the Indian animated movie already made a fortune in its first week of release. With a total revenue of Rs 100 crore, this mythological epic is officially a box office blockbuster.

Ashwin Kumar makes his directorial debut with the mythical action movie Mahavatar Narsimha. The seven-part Mahavatar Cinematic Universe begins with this blockbuster installment. The animated epic depicts the narrative of Hiranyankashipu and the unconditional devotion of his son Prahalad to Lord Vishnu. India has always had a unique market for mythological movies. The popularity of these movies has confirmed that as long as there are believers on the planet, the genre will continue to exist.
