Despite being an animated film with no major star power, it has broken box office records, proving that people are constantly drawn to fascinating stories, especially those with mythical and cultural undertones.

Mahavatar Narsimha continued its incredible run at the box office on Monday. As anticipated, trade expert Taran Adarsh said that Monday's numbers are higher than Friday's and Saturday's, which is a blatant sign of the movie's amazing trajectory in Hindi. The animated epic brought in Rs 1.4 crore on Friday, Rs 3.20 crore on Saturday, and Rs 6.50 crore on Sunday. On Monday, the religious film made Rs 3.60 crore in Hindi.

Mahavatar Narsimha Box Office Collection Day 4 (All Languages)

Mahavatar Narsimha had a historic surge over the weekend after starting the weekend with a modest opening of Rs 1.35 crore on Friday. On Saturday, revenue was Rs 4.6 crore, and on Sunday, it soared to Rs 9.5 crore. The animated movie maintained its momentum into Monday, earning an astounding Rs 6.15 crore and easily passing the first Monday test. This makes the movie's four-day total a respectable Rs 22.00 crore.

Mahavatar Narsimha has not only attracted th interest of the Indian audience but also demonstrated that animated movie can also be highly successful at the box office if they have a compelling plot and visuals.

Mahavatar Narsimha Becomes Highest Grossing Animated Movie

Mahavatar Narsimha broke the long-standing record of Hanuman (2005) as the highest-grossing Indian animated movie ever. Despite having a strong start, Ashwin Kumar's directorial gained remarkable momentum during the weekend. After earning about 2.10 crore on Friday, the first movie in the ambitious Mahavatar Cinematic Universe saw a startling +160% increase in earnings on Saturday, reaching over 5.50 crore. With preliminary estimates indicating collections in the range of 10.75–11.50 crore gross (9.25–9.75 crore net), Sunday saw yet another enormous rise. Between Friday and Sunday, the film saw a startling 500% increase. An outstanding amount for an animated film in India, which increases the overall domestic opening weekend to about 19 crore gross (about 15.50 crore net).

The animated devotional movie Mahavatar Narsimha, which was developed on a pitiful budget of Rs 4 crore, has generated seven times its money and is now among the most lucrative movies.
