Mahavatar Narsimha Box Office Collection Day 8: Ashwin Kumar’s directorial movie released in theatres on July 25. Since its debut, the film has been roaring at the ticket windows. It is one of the most anticipated movies of the year, which opened at theatres with a phenomenal response and has been setting records with each passing day. In just 8 days of release, the movie officially became highest-grossing animated movie of all time in India as it set a huge milestone.

The film grossed over Rs 60.5 crore in just 8 days of release. The makers of the film shared the news on Instagram and wrote, “The divine roar has echoed across the nation 🦁 #MahavatarNarsimha has roared past all records, grossing Rs 60.5 CRORES+ in just 8 DAYS to become India’s Highest-Grossing Animated Film of All Time.”
About Mahavatar Narsimha
The mythological drama movie revolves around demon Hiranyakashyap, who seeks revenge on Lord Vishnu and declares himself a god. However, his son Prahlad is a great devotee to Lord Vishnu. The deity then takes the avatar of Lord Narsimha to kill Hiranyakashyap and restore peace, harmony in society. Aditya Raj Sharma has lent his voice to Hiranyakashipu, Haripriya Matta for Prahlad, Priyanka Bhandari for Kayadu, Vasundhra Bose for Diti, Sanket Jaiswal is the Narrator, Uplaksh Kochhar lent his voice for Lord Vishnu, and Harjeet Walia for Lord Narsimha.
Mahavatar Narsimha has been directed by Ashwin Kumar and backed by Shilpaa Dhawan, Kushal Desai and Chaitanya Desai under the banner of Kleem Productions. It has been presented by popular production Hombale Films. Their partnership aims to deliver a cinematic marvel across various entertainment platforms. Mahavatar Narsimha was released in 3D and in five Indian languages including Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi and Telugu.
Hombale Films and Kleem Productions have also officially announced the lineup for this animated franchise, which will span over a decade and chronicle the ten divine avatars of Lord Vishnu: Mahavatar Narsimha (2025), Mahavatar Parshuram (2027), Mahavatar Raghunandan (2029), Mahavatar Dhawkadhesh (2031), Mahavatar Gokulananda (2033), Mahavatar Kalki Part 1 (2035), and Mahavatar Kalki Part 2 (2037).
