Mahavatar Narsimha Vs Maareesan Box Office Collection Day 1: Ashwin Kumar directed the mythological animated movie Mahavatar Narsimha and Fahadh Faasil starrer Tamil film Maareesan hit the screens on the opening day. Both films created a lot of buzz on their theatrical debut day, earning good reviews from the audience and the critics. But
Mahavatar Narsimha has won the hearts of the viewers more as it brought good numbers on the opening day. Whereas Fahadh Faasil’s Maareesan failed to create magic in terms of box office numbers at the ticket windows. Mahavatar Narsimha and Maareesan have a difference of Rs 1.26 crore.

Mahavatar Narsimha Box Office Collection Day 1

As per Sacnilk, Mahavatar Narsimha earned Rs 2.01 crore on the opening day. The film collected Rs 2.29 crore. The Kannada version of the film of Rs 0.07 crore, the Telugu version earned Rs 0.38 crore, Hindi version collected Rs 1.51 crore, Tamil version earned Rs 0.02 crore and the Malayalam version collected Rs 0.03 crore.

Mahavatar Narsimha Budget

As per reports, the film has been made on a budget of Rs 4 crore.

Maareesan Box Office Collection Day 1

Fahadh Faasil’s movie Maareesan earned Rs 0.75 crore on Day 1. The film had an overall 18.27 per cent Tamil occupancy on Friday. It had 10.09 per cent occupancy in the morning shows, 16.57 per cent in the afternoon shows, 16.00 per cent in the evening shows and 30.43 per cent in the night shows.

Maareesan Budget

As per reports, the film has been made on a budget of Rs 25 to 30 crore.

About Mahavatar Narsimha

The film is about demon Hiranyakashyap, who seeks revenge on Lord Vishnu and declares himself a god. However, his son Prahlad remained devoted to Vishnu. Then Lord Vishnu takes the avatar of Narsimha to defeat Hiranyakashyap and restore balance. Mahavatar Narsimha has been directed by Ashwin Kumar and written by Jayapurna Das, Ashwin Kumar and Rudra Pratap Ghosh.

About Maareesan

The movie is about a young man who embarks on a journey with a stranger from Nagercoil to Tiruvannamalai. This journey brings unexpected situations to both of them in ways they never imagined. Maareesan stars Fahadh Faasil, Vadivelu, Kovai Sarala, Vivek Prasanna and Sithara in prominent roles. It has been directed by Sudheesh Sankar and produced by R B Choudary.
