Vicky Kaushal is all set to become a father as Katrina Kaif is expecting her first child with the actor. Recently, Vicky shared his excitement to become a dad soon and also revealed that the baby is almost here. It seems the couple is set to become parents this month. Kaushal also stated that he might not leave the house after their child arrives. The to-be parents announced their pregnancy in September.

Vicky Kaushal recently attended the Yuvaa Conclave held in Mumbai, where he talked about becoming a father. When asked about what he is looking forward to being a father, Vicky said, “Just being a dad. Really looking forward to it. I think it’s a huge blessing, and exciting times. Almost there, so fingers crossed. Mujhe lag raha hai main ghar se hi nahi nikalne wala hoon.”

Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif, who married in a private ceremony in Rajasthan in 2021, always kept their personal lives under wraps. After they announced their pregnancy this month, Vicky’s brother Sunny Kaushal opened up about being uncle for the first time. At an event in Mumbai, Sunny said, “Sabhi ko badi khushi hai, and nervous bhi hai ki kya hoga aage jaake (Everyone is happy and nervous, also. We do not know what will happen ahead) Waiting for that day to come.”

As per reports, Katrina Kaif is now in the third trimester. Some reports claimed that  the child is likely to arrive between October 15 and October 30. The couple has not made any announcement yet about the baby’s arrival. Reports also claimed that Katrina and Vicky prefer to keep the news private.

Earlier in 2019, in an interview with Filmfare, Katrina talked about having kids and said, “Not having a father figure does create a certain vacuum and makes any girl feel vulnerable. When I have kids, I want them to have the experience of being with both parents. Each time I’ve gone through something emotionally hard, I was compelled to reflect that it must be nice for those who have a strong fatherly support from a male figure, who loves you unconditionally.”
