Actress Mannara Chopra's father Raman Rai Handa, passed away at the age of 72 on June 16. The Bigg Boss 17 fame bid an emotional goodbye to her dad alongside her sister Mitali Handa and mother Kamini as they performed the last rites at his funeral ceremony in Mumbai on Wednesday. As per reports, her father had been unwell for the past few days before he breathed his last. After the news of his demise was announced, Mannara's cousin and actress Priyanka Chopra also mourned the loss of her paternal uncle (fufaji).

Heartbreaking visuals of Mannara from her father's funeral have now surfaced online. In the viral clip, Mannara can be seen giving a shoulder to her dad's bier along with her sister and other family members.

In another video, she and her sister Mitali were seen paying their last respect to their father and breaking down in tears. Their mother Kamini was also seen crying during the last rites.

Priyanka's brother, Siddharth Chopra, was also present at the Raman Rai Handa's funeral.

Mannara’s father was an advocate at the Delhi High Court. He was married to Kamini Chopra and survived with two daughters. He was the paternal uncle of Priyanka and Parineeti Chopra.

Mannara expressed his grief over his father’s demise on Instagram stories, “With profound grief and sorrow, we inform the sad demise of our loving father who left us for his heavenly abode on 16/06/2025. He was the pillar of strength for our family.”

Hours after Priyanka also posted on her Instagram story, saying, "You'll always be in our hearts. Rest easy Raman uncle (fufaji). Om Shanti.”

Talking about Mannara's work front, she has done several movies and shows. She garnered more recognition after her participation in the Salman Khan-hosted reality show Bigg Boss 17. She was recently seen in Laughter Chefs season 2.
