Metro In Dino Box Office Collection Day 2: The romance drama directed by Anurag Basu, which starred Sara Ali Khan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Neena Gupta, Anupam Kher, Konkona Sen Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, and Ali Fazal, saw a notable growth from its opening day. Metro In Dino, a slice of life drama, made Rs 6 crore on its first Saturday. Metro In Dino minted Rs 6 crore on the second day, according to the sacnilk report. The movie made a total of Rs 9.5 crore in two days. The earnings grew 71.43% after the first day.

Metro In Dino had the most screenings and the greatest occupancy of any region, with Delhi-NCR hosting both. Mumbai, the capital of Bollywood, is next in line. The movie had an occupancy rate of 32.20 per cent on Saturday in Hindi. The afternoon shows were attended by 30.95% of individuals, compared to 11.65% footfall in the morning. The night shows of the movie witnessed a footfall of 38.95%.

Metro In Dino is competing at the box office against Scarlett Johansson's Jurassic World: Rebirth, Brad Pitt's F1, Aamir Khan's Sitaare Zameen Par, and Kajol's Maa. The bright side for the makers for Metro In Dino is that the public's reaction is positive. The primary test of the movie will begin on Monday. The movie's strong grasp in the weekdays will guarantee a successful first week.

For the unversed, Life in a Metro was a sleeper hit. The movie earned only Rs 80 lakh when it first opened at the box office. Nevertheless, it capitalised on its positive word of mouth to mint over Rs 24 crore in lifetime. Anurag Basu's 2007 hit Life In A Metro starred late actor Irrfan Khan.
