Mirai Box Office Collection: The audience was captivated by Teja Sajja's portrayal of Mirai, another legendary actioner after HanuMan.The mythological movie starred Manchu Manoj, Ritika Nayak, Shriya Saran, Jagapathi Babu, Jayaram, and Getup Srinu along with Venkatesh Maha, Sunil Thapa, Kishore Tirumala, Pawan Chopra, and Rajendranath Zutshi. Talking about the storyline, a teenage warrior sets out on a quest to defend nine holy texts against the Black Sword (played by Manoj Manchu). The fight to protect it starts with the most difficult obstacles because the texts are thought to bestow the power of God. 

Mirai had a poor performance throughout the fourth weekend after impressing initially. It made Rs 65 lakh on the fourth Friday in India and then saw surge with an additional Rs 63 lakh on day 23. The movie made Rs 62 lakh on day 24. Overall, Mirai minted Rs 1.9 crores during the fourth weekend. The Telugu movie's shows were greatly affected in the Telugu market with the release of Pawan Kalyan's They Call Him OG and Rishab Shetty led Kantara Chapter 1.

Mirai, directed by Karthik Gattamneni was reportedly mounted on a budget of Rs 60 crore.

Will Mirai Hit Rs 150 Crore Mark?

Mirai has already surpassed the 140 crore milestone and is rapidly approaching the 150 crore milestone. With its current global gross of 143.25 crore, it will require an additional 6.4 crores to reach the significant milestone of 150 crores. The aim appears unattainable, though, given the film's plodding pacing.

The Telugu mythological epic received accolades for its high-octane action, mythology theme, and visual effects. Mirai is preparing for its digital release on JioHotstar.

Set after the Kalinga War, the story features glimpses and insights from Lord Rama. The main character of Mirai is Ved, a carefree scrap collector from Hyderabad who is thought to be descended from the protector of sacred texts that Emperor Ashoka concealed. However, the evil sorcerer Mahabir Lamba is looking for those nine grandhas (scriptures) in order to become immortal and take control of the planet. When Ved receives direction from Sanyasini, the mission to protect the world starts.

Mirai promises viewers a visual extravaganza by fusing myth, action, and state-of-the-art imagery. The narrative centers on a valiant warrior selected to protect nine holy texts, laying the groundwork for a titanic conflict that blends tradition and spectacle.
