Miss World 2025: Thailand’s Opal Suchata Chuangsri has been crowned Miss World 2025. The grand finale took place at the HITEX Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad, Telangana. The competition saw participants from 108 countries vying for the coveted crown. Opal's achievement marks Thailand's first win in the pageant.

The top four finalists included:

- Winner: Opal Suchata Chuangsri (Thailand)

- First Runner-up: Hasset Dereje (Ethiopia)

- Second Runner-up: Maja Klajda (Poland)

- Fourth Place: Aurlie Joachim (Martinique)

About the winner: Opal Suchata is a Thai model and beauty pageant titleholder. She was crowned Miss World 2025, thereby becoming the first Thai woman to win Miss World. Opal was previously crowned as Miss Universe Thailand 2024. She even represented Thailand at the iss Universe 2024 pageant, where she finished as the third runner-up.

She is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Politics and International Relations (BIR – International Program) at the Faculty of Political Science, Thammasat University. Suchata began her pageantry career in 2021 after she competed in Miss Rattanakosin 2021 pageant.

India’s Nandini Gupta Fails To Reach Top 8

India's representative at the 72nd Miss World pageant, Nandini Gupta, was eliminated before reaching the top 8. If she had won, she would have been the seventh Indian to claim the crown, following in the footsteps of past winners like Manushi Chhillar, who won the title in 2017.
