Mission Impossible 8 Advance Bookings in India: Tom Cruise starrer action thriller Mission Impossible The Final Reckoning is one of the most anticipated movies of the year. It is scheduled to hit theatres in India on May 17. The movie is creating buzz as it marks the final chapter of the popular franchise. The response to pre-sale tickets has been overwhelming ever since advance bookings were opened by the makers, showing massive excitement among fans.

Mission Impossible The Final Reckoning Advance Booking In India Report

The demand for tickets in India is rising. Within just 24 hours of opening, the film sold over 11,000 tickets. By 10 PM on Tuesday, May 13, over 45,000 tickets had been sold across India’s top three national chains.

Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning Part One, which was released in 2023, was a massive hit and earned approximately Rs 15 crore gross in India during its opening. The upcoming sequel is expected to achieve a gross opening collection of Rs 20 crore or more, as per Sacnilk.

“We’re witnessing an extraordinary response to Mission Impossible The Final Reckoning. The first 24 hours saw great momentum, reflecting India’s appetite for celebrating cinema at scale,” Kamal Gianchandani - Chief Business Planning and Strategy - PVR- INOX LIMITED, said.

He added, " Tom Cruise continues to be a massive box-office draw, and this film, with its scale, spectacle, and legacy, has reignited excitement across our properties nationwide. It’s heartening to see a Hollywood tentpole unite fans and bring back the ‘event film’ energy to theatres”

Sharing excitement on the advance booking, Devang Sampat - MD Cinepolis India stated, “The advance bookings for Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning marks a major milestone for us in 479 screens. We haven’t seen this level of anticipation for a Hollywood release in quite some time."

About Mission Impossible The Final Reckoning

Final Reckoning is the eighth film in the popular Mission Impossible franchise. The upcoming movie will continue the story from where the 2023 film Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning left it. Tom's character Ethan Hunt and his team embark on a mission to face a potentially catastrophic battle against an artificial intelligence (AI) machine known as The Entity. Chris McQuarrie, who has directed several films in the franchise, has co-written the script for this last chapter along with Erik Jendresen.

Along with Cruise, the movie also stars Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Vanessa Kirby, Pom Klementieff, Shea Whigham, Angela Bassett, Esai Morales, Henry Czerny, Holt McCallany, Nick Offerman, and Greg Tarzan Davis.

Mission Impossible The Final Reckoning Release Date

Tom Cruise starrer is set to release in theatres on May 23 (US). The film is scheduled to hit cinemas in India on May 17 in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages. Not only this, Mission Impossible The Final Reckoning will be premiered at the Cannes 2025 on May 14.
