Veteran Bollywood actor Mithun Chakraborty’s daughter, Dishani Chakraborty, has entered a new phase in her personal life after getting engaged to her longtime partner, Myles Mantzaris. The couple announced the happy news through a heartfelt social media post, sharing dreamy pictures from the proposal. Their engagement has been met with an outpouring of love from fans, friends, and family members. Dishani and Myles shared a series of romantic photographs from their proposal ceremony on Instagram. The pictures captured the memorable moment when Myles went down on one knee at a picturesque seaside location.
The celebration featured sunflowers, candles, and a stunning backdrop, creating a magical setting for the proposal. One of the photos also showed Dishani proudly displaying her engagement ring.
Along with the images, she wrote, “06.12.2026.. The easiest forever I’ve ever known.” The post quickly attracted attention from fans and well-wishers.

Dishani's Brothers Mimoh And Namashi Chakraborty Reacted To Post
The engagement announcement received warm responses from family members and celebrities. Dishani’s brother, Mimoh Chakraborty and Namashi Chakraborty expressed their happiness in the comments section. Namashi wrote, "Love you both" while Haunted 3D actor Mimoh Chakraborty drops several heart emojis.
Actor Celina Jaitly also reacted to the post. However, Mithun Chakraborty has not yet publicly commented on the engagement.
All About Dishani Chakraborty
Dishani is the adopted daughter of Mithun Chakraborty and his wife, Yogeeta Bali in early 1990s. It is said, that the adoption followed a heartbreaking news report in Kolkata where an infant had been found abandoned near a garbage bin. Deeply moved by the story, Mithun and Yogeeta rushed to rescue the baby, swiftly completed the legal procedures, and brought her home.
The couple has three biological sons—Mimoh, Ushmey, and Namashi—along with Dishani.Over the years, Dishani has often spoken about the strong values and guidance she received from her father.

Dishani Recalls Her Father’s Advice
In an earlier interview with Etimes, Dishani shared one of the most valuable lessons she learned from Mithun, “My father has always taught us to have a strong work ethic and be a good person at the same time.”
