Malayalam superstar Mohanlal announced the release date of his biography, Mukharagam, on his 65th birthday. The L2: Empuraan actor is celebrating his 65th birthday on Wednesday. On the occasion of his birthday, Mohanlal shared that the biography will be released on Christmas, 2025. Notably, the date marks the superstar’s 47th year in the film industry. In the video shared on X and Instagram stories, Mohanlal said “Dear all, on this birthday of mine, I am delighted to share some wonderful news with you. My biography, written by Bhanu Prakash and published by Mathrubhumi Books under the title 'Mukharagam', is all set to release. The foreword has been written by one of Malayalam's most beloved writers, MT Vasudevan.” 

The book will give us some insights into Mohanlal’s career. The actor added,  “This book captures various phases of my acting career spanning 47 years. It is a work that many have dreamt of for years, and now it is becoming a reality.” The book has been in work since 2019. According to reports, Mukharagam will trace the life of Mohanlal as producer, actor,  entrepreneur and other aspects. 

As the video was shared online, fans shared their excitement about reading the book and also wished the actor on his birthday. A fan said, “Waiting to get one of the very first copies, Laletta ! And, a very happy birthday.” Another said, “Happy birthday Laletta Wish you a great year ahead.” A fan commented, “Happy birthday to one of the most talented geniuses who weaves magic with his voice, expressions, screen presence, presentation skills. It will be a sheer pleasure to read a book dedicated to this impeccably talented star who does powerful roles & elevates one to heights.” 

On the work front, Mohanlal was last seen in Thudarum, which released in theatres on April 25, this year. The movie also featured Prakash Varma, Thomas Mathew, Shobana, Farhaan Faasil and Aarsha Chandini Baiju in key roles. After 26 days of release, Thudarum earned Rs 115.55 crore. 

The Malayalam superstar Mohanlal will be next seen in Hridayapoorvam. The movie also stars Malavika Mohanan, Sangita Madhavan Nair, Sangeeth Prathap, Siddique, Sabitha Anand, Baburaj, Nishan and Lalu Alex in significant roles.
