Most Anticipated Indian Movies In Second Half Of 2025: Among the Indian movies with planned releases for the rest of the year, some of the titles were consistently the most popular with IMDb customers between January 1, 2025 and July 1, 2025, as determined by the actual page views of the hundreds of millions of monthly visitors to IMDb worldwide. It is noteworthy that Mohanlal, Ajay Devgn and Pooja Hegde are attached to projects charting in both lists. Mohanlal plays the lead role in L2: Empuraan and will also appear in Hridayapoorvam. Hegde stars in Deva and Retro and will be seen in Coolie, while Devgn leads Raid 2 and will appear in Son of Sardaar 2. July also marks anticipated debuts for Ahaan Panday in Saiyaara and Shanaya Kapoor in Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan.

Coolie

Coolie is an upcoming Tamil-language action thriller directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced by Sun Pictures. The film boasts an ensemble cast, including Rajinikanth, Nagarjuna, Upendra, and Shruti Haasan, among others. After being announced in September 2023 as Thalaivar 171, the official title Coolie was revealed in April 2024.

War 2

War 2 will release in theatres on August 14, 2025. He will star alongside Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani in Ayan Mukerji’s action-packed thriller under the YRF Spy Universe. War 2 is an action movie filled with larger-than-life fighting sequences. Talking about film’s action scenes, the director said, “Everything about ‘War 2’ has been crafted with a lot of planning to elevate the theatrical experience of the audience. The maximum time spent was on the action set pieces and crafting the storyline and the conflict, which was needed to mount the face-off between Hrithik Roshan and NTR.”

The Raja Saab

Starring Prabhas, The Raja Saab is generating significant buzz among cinema enthusiasts. Written and directed by the talented Maruthi, the film is being produced by People Media Factory, a renowned production house.The journey of The Raja Saab began in October 2022, when the principal photography commenced.

Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan

Presented by Zee Studios and Mini Films, and produced by Mansi Bagla, Varun Bagla, and Open Window Films, Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan is directed by Santosh Singh and written and created by Mansi Bagla, with music by Vishal Mishra. Starring Vikrant Massey and Shanaya Kapoor, the film is set to release in cinemas on July 11, 2025.

Saiyaara
