The actress gained recognition after starring opposite Ranbir Kapoor in Imtiaz Ali’s directorial Rockstar. Since then, she has been a renowned personality, mainly for her beauty and fitness routine. The actress recently got candid and shed light on her habits and revealed a shocking fact about her lifestyle.

Nargis Fakhri recently left Soha Ali Khan stunned while having a chat with her on Hauterrfly’s YouTube channel. She revealed, “I do fasting twice a year, no food at all, just water for nine days. It’s very difficult. But once I’m done, I’m telling you, you look snatched. I mean, the jawline is out, the face is glowing. But I wouldn’t recommend it.”

Talking about her beauty secrets and wellness routine, she further added that everyone looks for shortcuts in life. But you can not get results like that. She expressed, “Everybody wants a quick fix, but there’s no quick fix. It’s always a combination of things, and the combination for me seems to be great sleep. I sleep like eight hours a night. I also try to hydrate. Then also, my food choices. Like, I want foods that are nutritious and have vitamins and minerals in it.”

The Housefull 5 star recently made headlines for getting trolled about her ‘old look.’ Nargis followed the trend and uploaded a transitioning reel on Instagram to the song Dame Un Grrr by Fantomel and Kate Linn. Many fans appreciated her playful video, but some were quick to point out her ageing looks. A comment read, "Damn she looks old.. we really are growing up". Rather than ignoring the remark, Nargis replied to the comment, “Yes u are LOL embrace it (sic).”

Replying to the user’s comment, several netizens backed Nargis Fakhri and praised her looks. One user said, "She looks pretty young for 45 wdym (sic)?". A second comment read, "Are you kidding, she freaking GORGEOUS (sic)". A third fan wrote, "Ageing like fine wine".
