Naseeruddin Shah hits back at trolls a day after his Facebook post backing Diljit Dosanjh went missing. His viral post endorsing the Punjabi singer-actor's choice to collaborate with Pakistani actor Hania Aamir on Sardaar Ji 3 was no longer visible on his profile. The veteran actor stated that he doesn't 'care' if his remarks led to backlash.

Naseeruddin Shah's post, which vehemently supported Diljit's choice to collaborate in Sardaar Ji 3 with Pakistani artist Hania Aamir, generated discussions on the internet. Nevertheless, the seasoned celebrity claims he hasn't removed anything and maintains his position, unfazed by criticism. He wrote, "I have NOT deleted my post about Diljit Dosanjh. I dont care a fiddler’s fart for backlash (sic)."

Naseeruddin Shah's orignal post on Facebook was a strong defense for Diljit Dosanjh. It read, "I STAND FIRMLY WITH DILJIT. The dirty tricks deptt of Jumla Party has been awaiting a chance to attack him. They think they’ve got it at last. He was not responsible for the casting of the film, the director was."

"But no one knows who he is whereas Diljit is known the world over, and he agreed to the cast because his mind is not poisoned. What these goons want is to put an end to personal interaction between the people of India and Pakistan. I have close relatives and some dear friends there and no one can stop me from meeting them or sending them love whenever I feel like it. And my response to those who will say 'Go to Pakistan' is 'GO TO KAILASA'." he added.

About Diljit Dosanjh's Sardaar Ji 3 Row

Diljit Dosanjh has been under fire lately for his most recent movie, Sardaar Ji 3, especially for working with Hania Aamir. The movie released worldwide, including Pakistan on June 27, skipping its release in India. The controversy took bigger shape following the recent Pahalgam terror attack on April 22 and India's retaliation with Operation Sindoor on May 7, which involved airstrikes against terror sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
