Son Of Sardaar 2 actress Mrunal Thakur has been dominating the headlines as she has been seen promoting her recently released movie opposite actor Ajay Devgn. Apart from work, the actress is also gaining attention for some developments taking place in her personal life. A video from Mrunal’s birthday bash recently went viral, where the actress was seen holding hands with the Raanjhanaa star Dhanush.
Mrunal Thakur and Dhanush’s cosy act instantly grabbed netizens’ attention and gave rise to their dating speculations. Amid this, the actress has opened up about believing in the curse of the evil eye. In an interview with Instant Bollywood, the actress revealed that she liked maintaining privacy regarding her work and personal life. She also shed light on how she maintained a positive mindset in the fast-paced world of the industry.
Talking about her belief in the evil eye, she said, “There are a lot of things I still need to do with my career, a lot of boxes I haven’t checked. But I will talk about those things once I actually do them because I don’t want to jinx it by talking about them. I believe the whole nazar thing, ‘boht nazar lagti hai‘ (evil eye jinxes things).”

Further, Mrunal Thakur opened up about maintaining boundaries and the importance of knowing what to speak. She explained that one should always control how much they tell the world. According to her, sometimes people tell others about their plans and what they want to achieve in life and jinx themselves because of oversharing.
“I have a very different personality in that sense, because someone might talk about the number of releases they have next year. I don’t want to talk about it; everyone knows what’s coming and what’s not. I don’t like to constantly think and talk about the things that are happening in my life,” she added.
Talking about dealing with work pressure, the Super 30 actress shared that she is a positive person and doesn’t have to work on maintaining her positivity. She also added that she barely felt any pressure before any movie’s release.
