Salman Khan is currently busy shooting in Ladakh for his highly anticipated war drama Battle of Galwan. Photos and videos from the sets have been surfacing online. From posing with soldiers and meeting with the Lt Governor to now being spotted spending time with the locals, Salman has been creating quite a buzz with his visit to Ladakh. The upcoming film is directed by Apoorva Lakhia and is based on the events that took place between Indian and Chinese troops in the Galwan region on June 15, 2020. Battle of Galwan will explore these true events, with Salman in the lead alongside Chitrangda Singh.
In the latest viral photos, Salman can be seen sitting in a restaurant in Ladakh, interacting with a group of locals. He can be seen wearing a casual attire, including a black textured jacket over his t-shirt and a camouflage army cap. The photos captured his candid moments, showcasing him smiling during his downtime from his shoot.

Recently, the Office of the Lt. Governor, Ladakh, shared the photos from the meeting on X and wrote, "Bollywood icon Salman Khan paid a courtesy visit to the Hon’ble Lt. Governor Shri @KavinderGupta at the Raj Niwas, #Leh."
Salman, who is also hosting season 9 of Bigg Boss, missed the recent Weekend Ka Vaar episodes. He was replaced by Farah Khan, along with guest hosts Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi. It will be interesting to see if he returns to the BB19 sets in the upcoming episodes.

Coming back to Salman's film, which is about the conflict between Indian and Chinese troops at the Galwan region, where 200 soldiers bravely defended their territory against a force of 1200 Chinese Liberation Army Soldiers. Apoorva Lakhia's directorial stars Abhilash Chaudhary, Ankur Bhatia, Zeyn Shaw, Vipin Bhardwaj, Nirbhay Chaudhary, Heera Sohal, Abhishree Sen and Siddharth Mooley in key roles. Battle of Galwan's screenplay is penned by Chintan Gandhi, Suresh Nair and Chintan Shah.
