Salman Khan is gearing up for his much-anticipated war movie, Battle of Galwan. He is currently in Ladakh for the shoot. The film is directed by Apoorva Lakhia and is based on the events that took place between Indian and Chinese troops at the Galwan region on June 15, 2020. Several photos and videos from the sets are going viral on social media. Recently, he was seen posing with soldiers, wearing an olive green T-shirt, cargo pants and combat boots. Now, a photo of him meeting Ladakh Lieutenant Governor Kavinder Gupta has created a stir online.

Taking to the official X handle, Office of the Lt. Governor, Ladakh shared the photos from the meeting with Salman Khan and wrote, "Bollywood icon Salman Khan paid a courtesy visit to the Hon’ble Lt. Governor Shri @KavinderGupta at the Raj Niwas, #Leh." The post was shared on Saturday. Salman was seen dressed in a casual outfit, a blue shirt and a denim jeans. The actor also received a special gift, a Thangka Canvas painting from Ladakh's LG during his meeting.

Salman recently took the internet by storm after sharing a first glimpse of himself from the Battle of Galwan set. The image featured his face, partially visible behind a clapperboard. Dressed in a military uniform with a bloodstain mark on his face and an intense expression, he sets the tone for the movie. Sharing the picture on Instagram, he wrote, “#BattleOfGalwan."
About the Battle Of Galwan Cast
The upcoming war drama is based on the Galwan Valley clashes at the India-China border in 2020. The conflict between Indian and Chinese troops at the Galwan region, where 200 soldiers bravely defended their territory against a force of 1200 Chinese Liberation Army Soldiers. Besides Salman, the movie also stars Chitrangda Singh, Abhilash Chaudhary, Ankur Bhatia, Zeyn Shaw, Vipin Bhardwaj, Nirbhay Chaudhary, Heera Sohal, Abhishree Sen and Siddharth Mooley. Written by Chintan Gandhi, Suresh Nair and Chintan Shah.

Apart from acting, Salman continues to host the popular reality show Bigg Boss 19. This time, he skipped the Weekend Ka Vaar episodes due to shooting commitments and Farah Khan stepped in as host. This season features contestants including Kunickaa Sadanand, Gaurav Khanna, Awez Darbar, Nagma Mirajkar, Neelam Giri, Ashnoor Kaur, Tanya Mittal, Amaal Mallik and many others.
