About Battle Of Galwan
The movie is based on the events that took place between Indian and Chinese troops at the Galwan region on June 15, 2020. That day, 200 soldiers bravely defended their territory against a force of 1200 Chinese Liberation Army Soldiers. The movie also features Chitrangda Singh, Abhilash Chaudhary, Ankur Bhatia, Zeyn Shaw, Vipin Bhardwaj, Nirbhay Chaudhary, Heera Sohal, Abhishree Sen and Siddharth Mooley in key roles. It has been written by Chintan Gandhi, Suresh Nair and Chintan Shah. The movie has been directed by Apoorva Lakhia.
Earlier in an interview with PTI, Salman said, “It is physically demanding. Every year, every month, every day it gets more and more difficult. I've to give more time now (for training). Earlier, I would do it (train) in one or two weeks; now I'm running, kicking, punching, and all that stuff. This film demands that.”
“For instance, in Sikandar, the action was different, the character was different. But this is physically difficult. Besides, shooting in Ladakh, in high altitude and in cold water (is another challenge).” he added.
