Nora Fatehi Defamation Case: Bollywood actress and dancer Nora Fatehi has landed in legal trouble after an aviation company filed a ₹3 crore civil defamation lawsuit against her. The dispute stems from videos she posted on social media following a private flight, which the firm claims severely damaged its reputation and business.

Why Has Nora Fatehi Been Sued For ₹3 Crore?

Aviation firm Dunes Aviation filed a ₹3 crore defamation suit against Nora Fatehi in a Gandhinagar court. The company claims that her "derogatory and reckless" social media comments about one of its chartered planes damaged its reputation, led to customer booking cancellations, and directly caused commercial losses.

According to the lawsuit, her remarks were "reckless, irresponsible, and made without any technical knowledge, verification or factual basis". Given her massive online reach of over 46 million followers, the company asserts that her statements severely impacted customer confidence, resulting in a 15-20 per cent drop in bookings and an increase in cancellations.
