October 2025 OTT Releases: October is full of surprises for the audience of OTT. Several new movies and web series are gearing up for release. From Malayalam blockbuster movie Lokah Chapter 1 to War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan, Kiara Advani and Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra's Param Sundari, among others, there is something for everyone to watch on OTT. So, grab your popcorns and get ready to binge-watch some of the most-awaited movies and web series on Netflix, Prime Video, JioHotstar and other streaming giants.

Everything To Watch On OTT In October

Lokah Chapter 1

Directed by Dominic Arun and produced by Dulquer Salmaan's Wayfarer Films, the movie tells the story of Chandra, a mysterious woman who arrives in Bengaluru and finds herself entangled with an organ trafficking gang. Kalyani Priyadarshan shines in the titular role, bringing to life the first female superhero in Malayalam cinema. The film boasts an impressive cast, including Naslen in the male lead role, Sandy Master, Arun Kurian and Chandu Salim Kumar in supporting roles.

Although the makers have not yet confirmed an exact date, according to reports in 123Telugu, Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra will be available for streaming on JioHotstar, starting from October 20, 2025.

War 2

War 2 hit theatres on August 14, 2025, coinciding with the Indian Independence Day weekend, and was released in multiple formats including standard, IMAX, D-Box, ICE, 4DX, EPIQ and Dolby Cinema. The film received mixed-to-negative reviews from critics. While the cast performances, action sequences, and cinematography were praised, the story, screenplay, direction and visual effects faced criticism.

War 2 will stream on Netflix from October 9, 2025.

Madharaasi

Madharaasi is a 2025 Tamil-language psychological action thriller film directed by A.R. Murugadoss and starring Sivakarthikeyan, Rukmini Vasanth and Vidyut Jammwal. The movie follows a man with Fregoli delusion, a rare psychological disorder where he believes strangers are his relatives, who becomes entangled in a mission to thwart a North Indian arms syndicate distributing guns in Tamil Nadu. The film was released in theaters on September 5, 2025 and later became available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video on October 1, 2025.

Madharaasi is now streaming on Prime Video.

Search: The Naina Murder Case

Search: The Naina Murder Case is an upcoming crime thriller series starring Konkona Sen Sharma as ACP Sanyukta Das, a detective juggling her troubled marriage and a new case involving the murder of a teenage girl named Naina. Directed by Rohan Sippy, the show explores themes of suspense, emotions and gritty realism, keeping viewers hooked with its twists and turns.

The series premieres on October 10, 2025, on JioHotstar

Param Sundari

Starring Janhvi Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra in lead roles, Param Sundari hit the theatres on August 29, 2025. The film received mixed to negative reviews upon its release.

The story follows Param, a North Indian boy from Delhi, who searches for his soulmate through an AI app, which leads him to Sundari, a South Indian girl from Kerala. The film underperformed at the box office domestically but was a hit internationally.

According to reports, Param Sundari will be available for streaming on Prime Video from October 24, 2025.
