OG Day 5 Box Office Collection: Pawan Kalyan’s big-screen return with They Call Him OG has turned into a festival for fans, as the action-packed entertainer continues its strong run at the box office. Directed by Sujeeth, the gangster drama has been one of the most talked-about releases of 2025, and despite a natural drop after the weekend, it is inching close to the Rs 150 crore mark within just five days.

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the Telugu movie collected around Rs 7.5 crore on its fifth day (Monday). With this, its total domestic earnings have reached nearly Rs 147.7 crore. The decline in numbers compared to its massive opening weekend was expected, but the overall performance still points to a blockbuster run. They Call Him OG opened with a storm at the box office, collecting Rs 63.75 crore on its very first day, including Rs 21 crore from paid premieres held on 24th September. Despite a sharp 71% dip on Friday, the film bounced back over the weekend, earning Rs 18.5 crore each on Saturday and Sunday, bringing the weekend total to Rs 37 crore. Worldwide, the film has already crossed Rs 250 crore, proving its pan-Indian appeal. 

About They Call Him OG Movie

The Telugu movie stars Pawan Kalyan as a gangster named Ojas Gambheera, bringing back his trademark mass appeal. Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi makes his Telugu debut as the antagonist, while Priyanka Mohan, Arjun Das, Sriya Reddy, Prakash Raj, Subhalekha Sudhakar, Rao Ramesh, Abhimanyu Singh, and Vennela Kishore also play key roles. Interestingly, Pawan Kalyan’s son Akira Nandan is also part of the cast.

On the other hand, Pawan Kalyan, who is now serving as the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh since June 2024, had already hinted that OG might be one of his last projects for some time. In an interview, he shared that he had tried to finish his film commitments before the state elections but faced delays due to political duties.

Meanwhile, the Telugu movie has also sparked curiosity about its digital release. Reports suggest They Call Him OG will stream on Netflix after its theatrical run, likely within 45 to 60 days of release, though no official date has been announced.
