OG New Glimpse: On the occasion of Pawan Kalyan’s birthday, the makers of his upcoming film OG (also titled They Call Him OG) surprised fans with an intense new teaser. The short glimpse not only showcased Pawan Kalyan’s powerful screen presence but also introduced Emraan Hashmi’s menacing character, Omi Bhau, in full glory. With its thrilling teasers, powerful performances, and strong production values, OG has already built massive buzz. The film is all set to release in theatres worldwide on 25th September 2025, and fans are counting down the days to witness the much-awaited face-off between Power Star Pawan Kalyan and Emraan Hashmi’s Omi Bhau.

Emraan Hashmi, who makes his Telugu cinema debut with this film, had teased the surprise a day earlier. He wrote, “See you all tomorrow at 4:05 PM #OG #TheyCallHimOG,” creating a wave of excitement among fans. As promised, the teaser titled HBD OG – LOVE OMI was dropped, and it quickly became the talk of the town. The teaser opens with striking visuals of Emraan Hashmi’s character Omi Bhau. He is first seen in a calm and composed manner, relaxing on a yacht. This calmness, however, sharply contrasts with his violent side. In the very next moment, he unleashes deadly aggression, killing two men without hesitation. With chilling confidence, he then says, “happy birthday OG.” The teaser makes it clear that Emraan’s role as Omi Bhau will be one of the film’s highlights. Fans noted how unique his presentation was, with one commenting, “Nobody presented emraan hasmhmi like this before….pure banger.”

Alongside Emraan, Pawan Kalyan steals the show in his Ojas Gambheera avatar. He is seen holding a huge sword, his intense expressions highlighting the raw energy of the character. The clash between Pawan Kalyan’s Ojas and Emraan Hashmi’s Omi Bhau seems to be the central conflict of the film, promising high-voltage action and drama. The background score composed by Thaman adds even more impact to the teaser, enhancing both the violent and dramatic moments. A fan praised, “Thaman and anirudh combination, sets, location, emraan hashmi, Pawan Kalyan especially the bgm damn it’s outstanding.” Another simply called it a “Super glimpse.”

Directed by Sujeeth and produced by D. V. V. Danayya under DVV Entertainment, OG is a gangster drama revolving around Ojas Gambheera (played by Pawan Kalyan). Emraan Hashmi plays the antagonist Omi Bhau, while Priyanka Mohan stars opposite Pawan as the female lead. The film also features Prakash Raj, Arjun Das, Sriya Reddy, Harish Uthaman, and others in pivotal roles. The music is by Thaman S, while the technical team includes Ravi K.
