O'Romeo vs Tu Yaa Main Box Office Day 2: Two very different Hindi films are currently competing at the Indian box office. Romantic action thriller O'Romeo and survival drama Tu Yaa Main were released on the same day, 13 February, and the clash has caught the attention of trade analysts and cinema lovers alike. Both films feature well-known names and had strong pre-release buzz. However, the box office numbers for Day 2 clearly show which film is leading the race.

O'Romeo Box Office Collection Day 2

O'Romeo marks director Vishal Bhardwaj’s return after three years. The film is inspired by Hussain Zaidi’s book Mafia Queens of Mumbai and explores the crime world of Mumbai. The film features a large cast including Shahid Kapoor, Triptii Dimri, Nana Patekar, Avinash Tiwary, Tamannaah Bhatia, Disha Patani, Farida Jalal and Vikrant Massey.

According to Sacnilk, O'Romeo saw a good jump in collections on its first Saturday. The film earned Rs 12.25 crore on Day 2 at the Indian box office. With this, its total collection has reached Rs 20 crore in just two days. The steady growth shows that the film is attracting audiences over the weekend. Trade experts believe Sunday numbers could push the total even higher.

Tu Yaa Main Box Office Collection Day 2

On the other hand, Tu Yaa Main is directed by Bejoy Nambiar and is an adaptation of the Thai survival film The Pool. The film stars Shanaya Kapoor, Adarsh Gourav and Parul Gulati in the lead roles. This is Shanaya Kapoor’s second film after her debut Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, which released last year. The pairing of Shanaya and Adarsh created curiosity before release.

As per Sacnilk, Tu Yaa Main saw a massive 133% jump in collections on Day 2. The film collected Rs 1.4 crore on Saturday, taking its total collection to Rs 2 crore. Although the percentage growth looks impressive, the overall numbers remain much lower compared to O'Romeo.

Looking at the Day 2 figures, it is clear that Shahid Kapoor’s O'Romeo is leading the box office clash by a wide margin. With Rs 20 crore in two days, the film has performed significantly better than Tu Yaa Main, which stands at Rs 2 crore. The gap between the two films is large, and it will be interesting to see if Tu Yaa Main can improve its numbers on Sunday.
