‘Pakistan Had Been Doing This Repeatedly, Needed To Respond…’ Colonel Sofiya Qureshi Speaks About Operation Sindoor On KBC 17

Amitabh Bachchan is back with Kaun Banega Crorepati for its 17th season. This Independence day episode will be extra special as three real-life heroes will be on the hot seat. Three female officers from the Indian Armed Forces- Colonel Sofiya Qureshi, Wing Commander Vyomika Singh and Commander Prerna Deosthalee, who were behind the Operation Sindoor, will be appearing on Amitabh Bachchan’s quiz show this Independence Day. In the latest promo from the episode, the three officers shared some bits about the Operation Sindoor.

Colonel Sofiya talked about the mission after terrorists attacked tourists in Pahalgam. She gave a reason why Operation Sindoor was a necessary step, which had been taken at the time. Vyomika Singh and Prerna Deosthalee also talked about the same.

Qureshi said, “Pakistan had been doing this repeatedly, so it was necessary to respond. That’s why Operation Sindoor was planned. This is a new India, with a new way of thinking.”

Vyomika Singh added, “From 1:05 am to 1:30 am, the mission was completed in 25 minutes.” Commander Prerna Deosthalee said, “Targets were destroyed and no civilians were harmed.”

Before the promo ended, Amitabh Bachchan was seen chanting ‘Bharat Mata Ki’, while the audience responded to it with ‘Jay’.
