Parwarish, a Pakistani drama, is gaining popularity due to its progressive plot and depiction of intergenerational strife within a joint family. However, a recent episode of the daily TV soap opera in particular drew criticism after many noticed a rainbow heart, allegedly promoting LGBTQ+ ideology, which sparked major backlash. Despite its briefness, many observers thought the moment was purposefully showcased in the soap opera.
Parwarish, a popular daily soap written by Kiran Siddiqui and directed by Meesam Naqvi, won accolades for exposing stereotypes and showcasing Gen Z's life and hardships in a conventional family environment. The 31st episode of the show focused briefly on a wall poster with a rainbow-colored Pride heart flag, a sign frequently connected to the LGBTQ+ community, while the character Wali sings at a café. However, netizens have taken to social media to express their disapproval of this particular scene.

Social media users were incensed by the brief visual, accusing the producers of covertly endorsing LGBTQ material in family drama. As soon as the scene went viral, it sparked a barrage of critical remarks on several platforms. A user on X (previously Twitter) wrote, "LGBTQ, Liberalism aur rebellious qism ke drama hen yeh 'Parwarish' ke naam pea." Another user wrote, "@arydigitalpk @arydigitalasia per Parwarish drama joh LGBTQ theme drama hen. Audacity dheko inki yeh ab openly Limit Cross kar rahen hen. Parwarish or Brainwashing?"

Title of drama is Parwarish while they are showing that it's okay to ignore studies and carrier and be madly in love and an intentional physical touch with Na-mehram is absolutely fine, Music is passion and love shove is all what a https://t.co/RXaMYgDSTr
The very reason I stopped watching parwarish is the scene where they show that LGBT rainbow and a gay-like man.
