The series returns with fan-favorite characters portrayed by a stellar ensemble cast including Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav, Faisal Malik, Chandan Roy, Sanvikaa, Durgesh Kumar, Sunita Rajwar and Pankaj Jha. About the series: The series follows the journey of an urban engineering graduate who lands a low-paying job as a secretary of a Gram panchayat in the remote village of Phulera, Uttar Pradesh. This role thrusts him into unfamiliar village cultures, leading to intriguing experiences and challenges as he navigates his new surroundings.

Panchayat premiered on Amazon Prime Video on April 3, 2020, to mostly positive reviews from critics, who praised its performances, writing, direction and technical aspects. The show's rural setting was a notable departure from TVF's earlier urban-focused productions.

The series received several awards at the inaugural Filmfare OTT Awards, winning multiple categories in the Comedy Series segment.
