Peddi: Janhvi Kapoor’s First Look From Ram Charan-Starrer Out; See

On Saturday, the makers of Peddi unveiled Janhvi Kapoor’s first look from the upcoming film. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the sports drama features Ram Charan in the lead role. Judging by the newly released posters that reveal Janhvi’s character name and look, fans are speculating that she plays a singer in the movie.

The official social media page of Peddi shared two posters introducing Janhvi as Achiyyamma, writing, “Our #Peddi’s love with a firebrand attitude. Presenting the gorgeous #JanhviKapoor as #Achiyyamma. #PEDDI GLOBAL RELEASE ON 27th MARCH, 2026.” In the first poster, Janhvi is seen standing on a jeep equipped with speakers, greeting a cheering crowd at what appears to be a village fair. The second poster gives a closer glimpse of her character, showing her singing into a microphone. Ram Charan also shared the posters on his social media handles.

Currently, Ram Charan has been traveling for Peddi’s shoot, and the team recently landed in Sri Lanka to film a song featuring him alongside Janhvi Kapoor. Ace choreographer Jani Master shared a few behind-the-scenes photos from the schedule, which instantly went viral. The pictures capture Ram Charan in a rugged yet stylish look, sporting long hair and a full beard. His effortlessly charismatic presence in the snapshots has left fans eagerly waiting to witness his electrifying performance on screen.

Written and directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi stars Ram Charan in the titular role, alongside Shiva Rajkumar, Janhvi Kapoor, Divyendu Sharma, and Jagapathi Babu. Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under his banner, Vriddhi Cinemas and leading production houses Mythri Movie Makers, the film is scheduled for release on 27 March 2026.
