Filmmaker Abhinav Kashyap, best known for directing Dabangg, has once again made headlines after targeting Salman Khan with sharp criticism and serious allegations. Kashyap, who has previously accused Salman and his family of damaging his career and controlling the film industry, recently mocked the superstar’s appearance and labelled him a “convicted criminal.” Now, a new episode of Bigg Boss 19 has left fans wondering if Salman has finally addressed those remarks albeit indirectly.
During the Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Salman appeared to hit back without mentioning Kashyap’s name. Speaking to the contestants, he remarked, “Sitting idle, people are saying all sorts of nonsense, even those who were once connected with me and had praised me a lot. Now, they don’t like me anymore. They go on podcasts, wasting time, talking whatever comes to mind – lies, rubbish, nonsense. They do this because they have no work. My request to them, and to everyone else, is: do some work.” He further added, “There’s nothing better than work. No matter what you’re going through, get up, take a shower, and show up at your job.” Though Salman never named Abhinav Kashyap, many viewers felt his pointed words were clearly aimed at the filmmaker’s recent jibes.

Abhinav Kashyap’s Allegations
Meanhwile, Kashyap, in a recent podcast, ridiculed Salman’s physical appearance, claiming the actor’s body looked “bulky” and “unnatural,” allegedly maintained with “injections.” He went on to say that Salman appeared stiff, with deteriorated bones that restricted his movement. These remarks followed his long-standing accusations that Salman and his family interfered with his projects and denied him due credit for Dabangg. He also brought up old controversies, including claims related to Tere Naam, where he alleged Salman created difficulties for his brother, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap. Moreover, he criticised Salman’s recent praise for Anurag’s film Nishaanchi, dismissing it as flattery to silence critics.

On the other hand, the internet has been buzzing since the episode aired. Many believe Salman Khan has finally addressed Kashyap’s negative remarks in his own style – indirectly but firmly. While his message appeared motivational on the surface, the timing and tone left viewers convinced it was a subtle dig at the Dabangg director.
